Isaac coming to Florida

The Republican National Convention has been delayed by one day, due to tropical storm Isaac. Isaac is expected to be in the gulf of Mexico on Monday  morning. The convention will convene on Monday but immediately recess until the following afternoon.

Isaac hasn’t only postponed the RNC it has also driven out Vice President Joe Biden who had planned to speak in Tampa on Monday. The Obama-Biden campaign cancelled his whole trip to Florida. They said that they were worried about Isaac and they don’t want to give the officials another big political gathering to think about when a storm is coming.

Can a Tropical Storm push these important people around like this, or is it something else? Are the Democrats actually afraid to have a speaker in the same city as the RNC or has the storm really frightened them off?

I believe it it was a wise choice for Obama-Biden to stay out of Tampa because of Isaac AND because of the RNC.

By the way, if you didn’t see Chris Christi’s speech last night, you NEED to see it. Best speech of the night.
