Milk Choice vs. School Choice

Miiiiilk!

Jeb Bush was talking at the Republican Nation Convention, with a high school teacher and a school choice advocate. Neither of them were very good speakers but they got their points across, and where they weren’t great Jeb Bush certainly made up. He made a funny statement, comparing the ability to choose what kind of milk you want, to what kind of school you want.

His stament: “So here’s another thing we can do: Let’s give every parent in America a choice about where their child attends school.
Everywhere in our lives, we get the chance to choose.
Go down any supermarket aisle – you’ll find an incredible selection of milk.
You can get whole milk, 2% milk, low-fat milk or skim milk. Organic milk, and milk with extra Vitamin D.
There’s flavored milk— chocolate, strawberry or vanilla – and it doesn’t even taste like milk.
They even make milk for people who can’t drink milk.
Shouldn’t parents have that kind of choice in schools?”

Hi, Corinne. Why do you wish Jeb Bush was president? I certainly do not based on some certain issues. Yes, I was watching the RNC, and yes, there were great speakers. I thought Marco Rubio and Condoleezza Rice were outstanding. =)
